Optical couplers and splitters

Optical fiber couplers are basic elements of branching out optical networks (local, computer, TV) of any configuration. They fulfill the role of elements, dividing fibers of optical fiber main line for following users.
Normal couplers function as separate passive network elements, included in the optical path with help of removable or fixed connectors (splicings).
